I had the privilege of meeting Nancy a few times and also shopping at her warehouse. Nancy is sorely missed by the sewing community. Nancy was a child of God who blessed many in numerous ways. We all miss her and the inspiring lessons she taught us through the years. I miss her greatly. I have not read any of the books but I am still a fan of Nancy. I look forward to reading this new book. The few times I would try my work was not viewed positively. Richard was Anita's boyfriend in earlier books, her one-time fianc, and is still her on again, off again lover. My whole circle of family and friends knew of her and what she gave to the world and got the rewards of her teachings. I loved Nancy. Of course she will be missedbut also remembered most fondlyand that is what leaving a legacy means. I got to talk with her at the Sewing Expo in Puyallup, WA. I was amazed that she was so patient and kind in the hectic atmosphere of such a stimulating and busy event. I will always be grateful for her touching my life.
