A year later, he moved to New Orleans where he lived with his childhood friend, Dillon Butvin. He worked at Merchants Motor Lanes for 28 years. Later they moved to Lake LBJ where she enjoyed gardening, learning line dances, and golfing with her husband. Rest in Piece. She married M.H. Rayford, the only child, moved with his parents to Kermit, TX in 1944. She loved traveling, cooking, and spending time with her children, grandkids, and family members.
